Dear Reader,

Thank you for being here and reading my post. It is a new experience for me, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts with you.
I am Irina, an author at the beginning of a new path, since I’ve started to write again after a break of two decades. When I was a teenager, I really enjoyed writing poems. At that time, I had the thought that one day I would write a fiction book. It was a desire that never completely disappeared. It has been revolving around me all this time.
I stared to write my first storybook about 5 years ago. All this time, I kept coming back to it time to time, adding bits. But one day, an event occurred in my life which turned my view on life 360 degrees. It was a dramatic event, which I will write about in a separated post when I am ready to share my story. Certainly, it was a turning point in my life to think and to act differently. I recognize that I still have much work to do on this. Hat off to people that can see this turning point in advance, without any dramatic events happening in their lives. And hat off to people that after dramatic events in their lives learned the lesson and stood up to follow a meaningful path in life. I’ve realised that, being on this side we must help other people who are looking for their meaning or can’t find it. I am certain that this is our task as people crossing from that odd side, which looks normal until you perceive it is not.
My journey. I was born in Moldova, a beautiful small country, located on the European continent. The country I love and the country from where my roots start.
My career in my home country was in banking, but it didn’t resonate with me at all. After few years of work in banking, the circumstances aligned in a different way, which led to move with my family to England. My second home country, which I love too, and which is the continuation of my school of life. In a decade, I’ve learned so many lessons, too rough in places, but all necessary. I am so grateful to have met here so many wonderful people that have helped us to navigate the map.
My work experience in England evolved from very basic jobs up to the moment when decided to found our own business. An act of courage for us and for everyone when starting from zero. Being face to face with small and big wins, and, of course with multiple challenges, shaped our character and attitudes. We were carried away by uneven, until the recent dramatic moment we’ve had in our family. It led us to understand that we must slow down the pace and live each moment that life gifts us.
From here, I decided to take the breaks off my writing and to give to the world as much as I can, while enjoying the moment.
Easy!
Unhurried!
It does take time, in this new thinking mode to touch the ideal that is available to anyone of us.
New learnings!
