Dear Reader,

A new year on the calendar.

Buy January and hello to February.

Welcome in February 2026.

January was more temperate compared to December, the month filled with pleasant Christmas bustle.

If January could talk in words, it would say that sometimes it was gentle and sometimes harsh, perhaps to remind us of the presence of winter.

Winter sculpts nature, especially when the weather is harsh, similar to human life, when winter pops into our lives. The strong one becomes even stronger, and the weak one has the advantage of choosing to be strong.

Until not too long ago, I was guided by the idea that with the new year new changes would come in my life too. It took me many, many now present moments to realise that it is now, in this very moment, when I decide to change things or transform the events towards my dreams, goals or aims – they could be called anyhow, the meaning is the same.

I look with appreciation and gratitude at everything that has happened to me. All these events have led me to discovery. They have led me to the present now as it is, despite all the storms. I am still learning to accept the events as they come into my life. I feel relief more often now, while still realising that there are more places within me to be carved. It is a continuous learning.

New Year or Every New Now. Something to reflect on.
